REMEMBERING OUR DEPARTED COLLEAGUES!!!
This year, we have lost two of our dear friends and valued colleagues. The Lagos State Ministry of Justice appreciates their invaluable contributions!
Mrs Rukayat Abiola Gbadamosi, a Deputy Director, joined the Lagos State Civil Service on 1st March, 2000. Her first place of primary assignment was the Directorate for Legislative Drafting where she worked from 2000 to 2006. She was thereafter transferred to Directorate of Civil Litigation where she served from 2006 – 2016 and the Directorate of Public Prosecutions from 2016 -2019 from where she was posted to Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission in 2019 where she was serving until she passed away on 24th July, 2022. She is sorely missed by friends and colleagues. May her soul continue to rest in peace!
Mr Olatunbosun Rafiu Aroyewun, a Deputy Director, joined the Lagos State Civil Service on 4th July, 2001. He started his civil service career with the Directorate of Citizens’ Rights in 2001 where he worked till 2007, when he was posted to the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA). He was in LASURA till 2009 when he was again was transferred to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions where he served for a period of 10 years from 2009 – 2019. He was then posted to Lagos State University in 2019 where he was serving until he passed away on 12th August, 2022. He is being sadly missed by all of us here at the Ministry of Justice and Lagos State University where he served until he breathed his last breath. May his soul continue to rest in peace! Our hearts and prayers go out to them and their families!
