Mrs. Aderinsola Olanrewaju is a Legal Practitioner with 30 years’ experience in the legal practice. She was born on 4th March, 1967 and attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1985 where she bagged a Bachelor of Law (LL.B Hons.) degree in 1989 and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990.
In the quest for continuous professional development, she acquired knowledge in various aspect of the profession including Advanced Arbitration and Mediation; Land Use Charge Dispute Adjudication, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Effective Leadership Skills. Apart from being a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), she is a member of the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR, UK).
Mrs. Olanrewaju, a seasoned Legal Practitioner with several years of experience in commercial practice and litigation was employed into the Civil Service in 1999. She worked as a Counsel in the Directorate of Civil Litigation;Directorate of Citizens’ Right;Citizens Mediation Centre as Head of Allen Office and Lagos Office; and was subsequently deployed to the Land Use Charge Assessment Appeal Tribunal as the Registrar of the Tribunal. This traverse of the legal practice in both private and public institutions has given her a wide range of professional experience.
In January, 2020, Mrs. Olanrewaju was deployed to the Directorate of Legislative Drafting to head the affairs of the Directorate and further broaden her professional competence.
Mrs. Olanrewaju is a devoted Christian, mother and wife with an utmost interest in self-improvement and continuous development. At her leisure, she loves to engage in several sporting activitiesand reading.
